The Ashton Community Food Pantry will distribute food at the Ashton Community Center from 5 - 7 p.m. Please bring identification and a current power bill. Donations of food can be left at Dave's Market and at the library; monetary donations may be left at the city office. Pasta and rice continue to be needed at the Pantry.

The annual Haunts of Harriman Halloween party in Harriman State Park’s historic Railroad Ranch district, 6:30 - 9 p.m. Hay rides, trick-or-treating, Haunted House, and carnival. This year’s theme is the “The Wild, Wild West” and admission will be dried or canned food for local food banks. Island Park Christmas Festival, sponsored by the Island Park Historical Society at the Mack's Inn Theater, Lower Big Srings Loop Road.
Craft Fair & Food Sale. 2 to 8 p. m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Baked goods, soup, chili, hot dogs, all kinds of neat art and crafts. Great holiday shopping! Soup & chili also available for take out. Live entertainment, 6 p. m. Friday.
Santa Claus visits at 7 p. m. Friday.
Festive holiday luncheon and auction, noon
Saturday. Up for auction: 10 decorated artificial Christmas trees, 10 wreathes, 10 gift baskets, and 10 holiday decorations (centerpieces, fireplace enhancements, outdoor decorations, etc.). Proceeds from auction go to local charities. Donate an auction item, designate the local charity of your choice to receive the proceeds. Saturday lunch reservations are required. Call IPHS secretary, Kari Dalton, to reserve lunch, to sign up to donate auction items, and to reserve a craft booth. 558.0900 or 681.9837.
