Soccer comes to Island Park!

ISLAND PARK — The community’s first ever youth soccer team will have its first practice from 5 to 6 p. m. Wednesday, September 8 at Sawtell Mountain Resort Park.
Organized my local moms, René Evans and Crystal Green, the team is for kids ages two to five. The fee to join is $20 and this will buy each child a team tee-shirt and help pay for trophies.
Kids are asked to bring their own soccer ball. Any size will work but size 3's are the best fit for the age range
“We are trying to get sign-ups done asap so we can get tee-shirts ordered,” says Evans.
Please call Crystal at 589.7784 or Rene' at 251.8697 to register. The team will practice from 5 to 6 p. m. every Wednesday.
“Volunteer parents would be great,” says Evans. “We are so excited and think its going to be a great first year for Island Park Youth Soccer. A big thanks to Sawtelle Mountain Resort for donating the park for our use.”
