   The winter edition of Targhee Women's Club
will meet at noon at The Trouthunter, no host lunch. Please call Diane at 558-7609 for reservations by the Sunday before the meeting. Come and enjoy chatting with your neighbors & friends. Everyone is welcome.

   Wild West WinterFest
, hosted by the Island Park Area Chamber of Commerce. Events scheduled so far include the Opening Ceremony with the Torchlight Snowmobile Parade and a super fireworks show at Hungry Bear Market & Deli on Hwy. 20, snowmobile events at the Hungry Bear Saturday and Sunday, and Casino Night Saturday at Island Park Lodge.

Saturday, January 9
   Free Ski Day at Harriman State Park
. Have you always wanted to try Nordic skiing or want to take your family but can't afford to? Want to learn how to build a survival snow cave? Idaho Falls Nordic Ski Patrol will be at the park offering lessons to those that want to learn the basics to Nordic skiing. A guided ski tour will be offered at 10 a.m. that will take you up the River Trail to the Historic Ranch. The historic Jones House will be open to go inside and warm up, and hot drinks will be available there. 208.558.7368.

   Spam Cup #1
– Classic Race. Sponsored by the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation, the Spam Cups are  fun for everyone. Participants range in age from 5 to 75. Winners in each distance category will win a highly coveted SPAM trophy! Come join the fun! rendezvousskitrails.com
